Today is a bright, cheerful, spring Monday morning. The rain from last night is a distant memory in the puddles on the pavement, and the sun is shining. I can hear birdsong outside my open window, and these gorgeous roses (20p from Tesco!) are brightening up my bedroom.
It’s been a lovely weekend, full of time with family and friends, enjoying the simple pleasures in life. I spent a lot of Saturday making these little Hama bead hearts with my daughter. I did most of the assembly, and she picked the colours out for me, making the beads talk to each other, and creating her own little stories. It was a great way to spend an afternoon! I’m going to string them together with nice yarn or fine ribbon and hang them on the wall.
