Tonight I made a penguin. He was such a joy to crochet – quick and easy, and irresistibly cute. The pattern is by Lupita Suarez, and you can find it here for free.
I used a 3mm hook and some scraps of DK yarn, and embroidered his face instead of using felt. The whole thing took about three hours from start to finish. I’ve been bitten by the amigurumi bug now, so I’m off to start work on a wee monkey!
